Spache Selects

I’m planning to go as a Lichtenstein-inspired pop art girl to PAX this weekend, and just did my first makeup test. It’s a pretty rough first try, but it only took 30min! I’m hopeful it will turn out well with more practice.

welp, just grabbed the almond milk instead of more orange juice. can’t waste an otherwise good drink…p.s. it’s actually very good, plus it looks pretty View high resolution

The best thing about having a food blog is that I have to make more than 1 serving for photos……and then I get to have them both, tee hee ^.^Mango-ritas in this case (cocktails are always the best case) View high resolution

Rachel, or Rach, as her friends call her, is the mastermind behind the delicious blog, Spache the Spatula! Rachel is a 20-something foodie living in Seattle who has a deep passion for food and baking, and decided to share all of this yummy love with the rest of the world. Spache the Spatula is a play on her nickname (Rach) and this interest in all things culinary. The blog features all that Rachel loves most with regard to food, including scrumptious recipes and even a few delectable restaurant reviews, for those dining experiences and dishes that the foodie finds worthy enough to share. After making a move from sunny Florida to Seattle back in 2008, Rachel discovered the food blogging world and decided that she’d love to be a part of it as well. Inspired by all of the fresh, mouth-watering ingredients that seemed to abound in the Pacific Northwest, the blogger immersed herself in cooking and discovering new recipes. Aside from purely the edible part of her passions, Rachel has a great love for sharks, reading (she graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Washington), and her adorable Dingo-esque pup named Rook. As the name would suggest, however, Spache the Spatula is more than anything a blog about food and all of its wonderful aspects. On here, you’ll find one-of-a-kind recipes, most of which Rachel has created or adapted herself, and include everything from spiced chocolate pumpkin whoopie pies to pasta with pine nuts, mussels and fennel with saffron cream sauce, plum and blueberry galette, and much more! From healthy to decadent, this girl really does have an impressive selection of unique, tasty dishes on offer for you to try out for yourself. Be sure you check out this delicious blog for yourself!

You guys, I am drinking alone (with my dog next to me) while watching an Aziz Ansari comedy special. When did I get so old and lame? This is my Friday.

Anyone wanna talk?

My dog will not stop standing over me. I’m having to edit pictures for my blog under him. How. How dog. How. View high resolution
